The Safira Country Club (Malaysia) provides a facility called Safira Sports Planet to let its members enjoy the game of futsal. It boasts of an arena of 5 rubberized Herculan pitches and 1 international sized FIFA approved Herculan pitch.
Speaking about Herculan on its website, Safira Club says that since futsal is best played on a smooth and flat surface, HERCULAN rubberized surface is the international standard surface used for futsal matches. Using the latest rubberized flooring imported from Holland, this surface reduces the impact forces to the player’s lower back, hips, knees and ankles during a match. And hence reducing the chance of injuries. It also mentions that the international and domestic pitches adhere to all the requirements of FIFA for international and domestic matches respectively.
